Web Site Submissions

1) Additions to the site should be submitted via e-mail or disk when possible.  However, I can scan documents and post them as an image as long as the document can be copied easily.  (Some colors don't scan well, as well as documents that are wrinkled, folded. etc.)  I can also type "stuff " if needed.  Really!  (Thank goodness for spelling checkers though!)  All photo's will be returned after scanning!

2) You can send updates to either the [email protected] or [email protected] address.  Of course I'll also be happy to take anything at any scouting functions!

3)  If you want the submission on a particular page, please let me know.  Otherwise, I'll make the determination of what page, and whether to put it on it's own page via a link, etc. 

4)  If you really want to control how it'll look, you can submit the document saved as an HTML file.  Microsoft Word 97 and above allows you to save a document in HTML format.  The biggest thing to remember is that formatting is handled differently between Word format and HTML documents.  Columns are lost, and TAB characters are lost.  If you want columns or aligned text, you need to use tables.  (The grid can be hidden.)  Look at the leadership listing for an example if you're interested in that!

Just giving options here.  The more you submit, the more useful the site will be.   I don't mind making changes and adding content - that's why I offered to do this!  I would like the site to be worthwhile to the members AND Leadership.  Above all, I do believe this site is for the PACK, so your opinion does count!  My feeling won't be hurt if there's something you don't like!
